Bio-film is bacteria that live in colonies and feed off of themselves.
They are large masses of bacteria that are like schools of fish.
They are ONLY found in cesspools and in the mouth.
When they are in the “algae” state, they are soft and can be removed more easily.
After being on the teeth for awhile, this soft bacteria turns into a hard substance called calculus.
These are like barnacles on a boat. This material is very hard to remove.
