Three Foods that Help Gums and Teeth

Kiwis

Kiwis contain at least as much vitamin C as you would need in one day. A lack of vitamin C can cause the collagen to break down in the tissue of the gums, making gums tender and more suseptible to infection.

Water

Water keeps your gums hydrated and stimulates saliva–your body’s own defense against the bacteria that causes decay and infection.

Celery

The extra chewing that celery requires produces plenty of saliva. In addition, abraisive foods massage the gums and clean off the teeth.
